I finally found the time to post another part from our Koh Samui trip. This past week has been pretty busy as I’ve had to prepare for our stall at Camberwell Market!
On our fourth day of Koh Samui, we decided to start the day off be going off to Lamai so that I could get my finger nails done. Although I was impressed with her skills, I was left a tad disappointed probably because I regretted choosing my design. A few days later I rectified this by getting them re-done, justifying it by – I’m on holidays and it’s super cheap anyways so why not.

Then we went to play our first escape game experience! Escapology is a live escape game where in pairs or in a group you are given a mission whereby you must complete by solving a series of clues. It is located just 5 minute drive from our resort so it was nice and close! Players get locked in a room for 60 minutes, find the clues, solve puzzles and riddles in order to unlock doors entering new rooms that contain new clues. Me and Kenny played the “Shanghaied” mission. We were told that if it was our first time, we might find it particularly difficult. Since our host would watch us from outside, she would come in at anytime during the game to give us hints if she saw us struggle. Let’s just say that she had to do this for us more than a few times throughout the game – yes, it was difficult, and at times I just felt like giving up from feeling miserably dumb. Haha. Nevertheless, it was a worthwhile experience and definitely challenging.
After giving our brains a bit of a work out – we decided to hit the pools and take lots of typical infinity pool photographs.
To finish off today’s perfectly relaxing day, we attended a buffet bbq our resort was hosting. We were seated high up by the water in the evening with pretty lights and a beautiful night time view of the dark breezy ocean.
